General Terms & Conditions
We want you to feel confident when buying from Bosh Boxes Ltd. Please take a few minutes to read these terms so you know how we work, what’s included with your purchase, and the protections in place for both you and us.
1. About these terms
These terms form the agreement between you (“the Customer”) and us, Bosh Boxes Ltd (“we” / “us”).
They apply to all container sales unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing. By placing an order with us, you accept these terms.
2. Quotations
All quotations are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
Quotes are valid for 5 working days from the date issued.
Prices are subject to availability and may change after the validity period.
Quotations are based on normal working hours for delivery (8am–6pm, Monday to Friday).
3. Orders
Orders can be made verbally or in writing following our quotation.
Any descriptions, photos, or drawings are for guidance only — actual units may differ slightly in appearance.
We may make minor changes to products if needed to meet regulations or improve quality.
4. Pricing & Payment
All prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
Payment terms are 5 working days from the date of invoice unless stated otherwise in writing.
We accept payment via bank transfer (BACS/CHAPS) or debit card.
We do not accept credit card or cheque payments.
Orders must be paid in full (cleared funds) before delivery is arranged or collection is permitted.
If payment is late, we may charge interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate.
Deposits, where taken, are non-refundable unless we fail to supply the goods.
5. Ownership & Risk
Risk passes to you once the unit is delivered or collected.
Ownership remains with us until full payment is received.
Until ownership passes, you must keep the unit in good condition and insured against loss or damage.
6. Warranty – Wind & Water-Tight Guarantee
We guarantee that all containers we sell will be wind and water-tight for the period shown below:
New (One-Trip) units – 5 years
Used units – 1 year
Exclusions:
This guarantee does not cover:
Cosmetic marks, dents, rust, or paintwork deterioration.
Fair wear and tear.
Misuse, neglect, or modifications without our consent.
Issues arising from not following our care or maintenance instructions.
If you believe your unit is not wind and water-tight within the guarantee period, notify us promptly so we can inspect and, where covered, repair or replace it.
7. Cancellations
If you cancel before delivery, charges may apply to cover any preparation or costs incurred.
Any custom-built or modified units are non-refundable once work has started.
If you cancel within 72 working hours of the delivery date, an aborted journey charge may apply.
8. Liability
We are not liable for loss of profits, loss of business, or any indirect or consequential loss.
Our total liability is limited to the value of the contract.
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any matter that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, transport delays, strikes).
If such events last more than 30 days, either party may end the contract.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
