Do you sell shipping containers?

What’s the difference between new and used containers?
New (One Trip): Clean, minimal rust, some minor dents can be expected – 5-year wind & watertight guarantee.
Used (Ex-Fleet): More affordable, cosmetic wear expected, 12-month wind & watertight guarantee.
Can I choose the container colour?
Yes. With our professional RAL colour painting service, you can choose from 200+ shades. From black and grey to custom finishes, our marine-grade paint ensures long-lasting durability. Standard lead time: 1–3 weeks.
How are containers delivered?
We provide container delivery UK-wide using HIAB crane lorries (rigid or articulated). Our drivers offload and position your unit safely. If you prefer to arrange offload yourself, flatbed delivery is also available at a lower cost.
Do you offer container conversions?
Yes. We build custom container conversions including offices, cafés, gyms, workshops, and more. Services cover cut-downs, insulation, lining, electrics, and full fit-outs.
Can I hire a container instead of buying?
We don’t currently provide container hire directly. But if hiring is right for you, we’ll point you towards a trusted local supplier in your area who can help with short-term or seasonal storage needs.
Do containers come with a guarantee?

Used: 12-Month Wind & Watertight Guarantee
Reefers: Warranty valid if commissioned by our approved engineers
How secure are they?
Steel storage containers are built to withstand global transport. With a lockbox and heavy-duty padlock fitted, they offer walk-in safe-level secure storage.

What if I need a non-standard size?
We offer cut-down containers to suit tight spaces or unique dimensions. Whether you need 13ft, 17ft or another custom size, we can build it safely to spec.
Do you deliver nationwide?
Yes. We provide container delivery UK-wide — from London to the Scottish Highlands. Our HIAB lorry network ensures reliable, safe positioning on site.

Do containers float?
No. Once full, they’re designed to sink if they fall overboard, preventing hazards at sea.
Can I bury a shipping container underground?
Technically yes, but it’s unsafe. Shipping containers aren’t built for sideways earth pressure — roofs can collapse. Reinforcement is required for underground use.
Can I paint it with normal emulsion?
No. Household paint will peel quickly. We use specialised marine-grade coatings for a durable, weather-resistant finish.
Can I buy half a container?
Yes. These are called cut-down containers. We professionally resize containers to any required length.
Is a container bomb-proof?
No. They’re strong, secure steel units but not blast-resistant. For reinforced shelters, specialist modifications are needed.
Can I order a pink one?
Yes. Shipping containers can be finished in any RAL colour — including pink, purple, or gold. (Black and white may carry an extra charge.)
Can I put it on my driveway?
Yes, provided your driveway can support 2.5 tonnes plus load weight. Ensure access and turning space are available before delivery.
